[Jo...] Posted March 18 Share Posted March 18 Hello, You can use thread pins with a cylinder to measure indirectly, like you can see in the image attached. [da...] Posted March 21 Author Share Posted March 21 I do that on my ACCURA II cmm in CALYPSO. How do I do it on Zeiss Inspect Optical 3D? I will be checking off of a CAD model. In Calypso, it is easy enough to add features that aren't there hanging out in space. Is there an similar way to add that in Optical 3D? Does it screw with things like prealignments / best fits / surface comparisons? I finished the online beginner courses, and nothing like this was ever mentioned. I am completely in the dark here.
