Contura Z-Axis Release Button?

Some backstory to the situation; We recently acquired a Contura 7/10/6 2017 mfg date and it got set in place the other day. I am attempting to do some general function verification prior to the Zeiss tech coming for calibration in case there is some issue we need to get ahead of. The machine has air and power. The X and Y directions will move by hand but the Z is locked in place. The head of the machine in Z is roughly 6-7" from the granite, this is where it was with all the bracing from transport which has been removed after the riggers put it in place.  The drives will not turn on at the moment but and I'm thinking the brake is engaged preventing this or it is too low and a limit is tripped.

I'm looking to find where the Z-axis lock/button is on this machine. I did some searching online but only came up with a couple threads that didn't solve my issue. Going through an operations manual I could find 1 mention of this release but it doesn't show where its located. This version of machine does not have the access hole at the bottom of the Z ram cover to press a release button(one of our other machines has this). I have the Z-ram cover off and have looked for something that would stand out but no luck. There is a toggle switch on the right side of the Z ram but this is for the X axis lock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got a little more information this morning I was told the switch on the right side of the Z column is suppose to toggle X and Z so its possible the Z axis pressure needs adjusted.
