Creating/Saving features as "Cad"

Working without a model and measuring features/creating characteristics, is there a way to save your work as a "CAD file" and adding some depth to features like cylinders, cones. Similar to extruding. More for a visual when you recall it as a step or iges file.

If you create your features as 3D entities with the correct geometry (Planes LxW, Cylinders diameter and depth, Cones angle, major dia. and minor dia.) you can save a CAD as SAT/Step or whatever CAD license you may have.
