[Ma...]
Hello Guys, Could you advise me what angle system for measuring e.g. a hole at a 45 degree angle (photo below) I should choose for the VAST XXT (Zeiss Duramax) head? I found some solution in Zeiss store but I don't know how it should be connected to the plate Maybe you have some experience with angle measurements
[To...]
That will work fine. There is also an adjustable knuckle that will give you flexibility for other uses. 626103-6180-020 https://shop.metrology.zeiss.com/INTERSHOP/web/WFS/IMT-US-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewProduct-Start?SKU=626103-6180-020&CategoryName=342050&CatalogID=300000&ExtendedNavigation=true Edited March

But could you explain to me how to connect the set below so that it works correctly? I want the angled pin to be precisely rotated in a specific axis. Do I need some kind of adapter? [Cl...]
The stylis should be able to connect directly to that adapter. Or you could add a carbon fiber extension. I use an optical comparator to set the angles. M3 XXT CFX® extensions - CMM Extensions Edited March

You can also use a comparator for the radial angle, using two of the ball holes. There are 3 small set screws that you can loosen to allow the knuckle to rotate to the desired angle. Then, tighten the 3 screws. [Ma...]
Now I understand. Thanks a lot. So it is enough if I order this knuckle to create this angular stylus. I don't need anything else
