[To...]
I have one program built from a STEP file, that whenever I open the program, the model flashes for split second and then goes away. I go to CAD > View > Re-draw CAD model and I'm good for the rest of the session. If I switch a window over to another measurement plan and come back, I have to repeat the re-draw process. The icons along the bottom do nothing. I've created a new MP with the same model and it happens again. I've healed the model, no difference. The STEP file is 3,590KB so I'm not sure if it's a size thing.
[Cl...]
Does it have to be a STEP file. Have you tried saving as a .SAB. Or try re-opening it in SolidWorks and re-saving.
[Je...]
Is it an assembly with multiple CAD entities inside the .stp file? I agree with Clarke--try saving as .sat or .sab and then heal the model if feasible.
[Ky...]
Perhaps this is a red herring, Tom, but 1. Did you save it after you re-draw it. 2. If you look in the CAD hierarchy (CAD>Modify CAD entities and then go to the Hierarchy tab), is the CAD model perhaps unchecked in there?
[To...]
* * * * U P D A T E * * * * From Calypso, I saved the model as my model.sab. Then, I deleted the model within program. Loaded the new version of the model. Re-associated the features to the new model via CAD Comparison. Closed and restarted Calypso. Loaded MP and the model stayed active. 🙂 Thanks to all.
