[Ti...] Posted April 2 Share Posted April 2 You need to inspect all the holes as a 'pattern' if you do not have all 6 degrees of freedom locked down.Some will argue you need to measure them as a pattern even if you have all 6 dof locked down, but I only say that if there is datum shift. The issue really is you need to measure all the holes in the same 'setup'. Create a pattern by going to 'inspection' > 'create element group' and use the dropdown or whatever you have to do to select all the cylinders into one 'group'. Then measure the position of the group using the OD as a datum. You should see a visual tolerance zone around each cylinder. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
[Ri...] Posted April 3 Share Posted April 3 As Tim said, if it is called out as the individual hole position 9x then you will need to create an element group from the holes. If you want the actual bolt circle diameter, you will create a fitting circle, then right click on the actual circle elements and tell it to Select All Points of Element - FYI they have to be visible for it to work correctly.
