[A...]
Good morning, all! Or afternoon for those grave shift people. I am back after a long break from the forum and quite a difference too. My recent change from Automotive to Aerospace & defense is...huge. New CMMs, imaging machines, and different culture from where I was. An exciting and needed change but much busier now. To keep this Calypso relevant, I provide to you, a reinvented wheel as it seems. This has been around since CSV files have but I am happy with the work put into this. What I have attached is a Data Ranger compatible with Calypso, MahrShaft (Tol unsupported), Surfcoms, and Micro-Vu's. This collects CMM data, sorts it into an out-of-tol and ranged data sheets, and even includes a ±3 STDev highlight. Best part? you may alter the data and regenerate the full report (ex, a bore with ±.0001" {±.0025mm for my metric people} measures differently with a micrometer). But maybe the best part is the compatibility between different inspection equipment? OR a multi-equipment selection option for importing from Calypso & a Surfcom. Anyways, give it a try or not. I welcome feedback if you do try it. I will try keep it up to date as I add more to it. Also, Penrod if you do see this, B. Morehouse says Hi. And lastly, what happened while I was gone? Miss anything good? Data Ranger Public.xlsm Edited April 1 ( Excel version update )
