Zeiss billing for Tech

We have had a Zeiss Tech onsite for over a week—actually, on and off for a total of 46 days. I’ve searched through years' worth of invoices but haven’t been able to find the hourly rate for an onsite Zeiss Tech.

Could anyone please provide this information or even a good guess...

Quotes are anywhere from $1960 to $5000 (couple of days to a week) depending on the issue.

Yes $5,000 is the most on the drop down lost for a tech to chose.

We have a bill almost 5X that price, plus parts.

Kevin,

Is this for machine calibration or other work (hardware troubleshooting, etc.)?

If it is for calibration, that service is typically quoted per machine, not hourly, but I could be wrong.

I'm interested to hear what you learn.

Come to the source.  Please reach out to CIC and our dispatch and billing teams will be happy to go over the details of any invoice with you.  Some work may be under warranty will some may not so the billing may be difficult to follow (I have zero insight on this specific order).
