Odd Beeping from Control Box

Good morning all, 

Continuing my theme of showing up to work and our O-Inspect behaving in a way I don't expect. When the stylus contacts the part, the control box beeps as expected and then a beat later, as the feature is being scanned there is another beep. Typically I would restart CALYPSO as a first troubleshooting step but since it doesn't seem to be impacting the function of the CMM, I'm being asked to only intervene if I determine this is a critical issue. I have attached a recording of the phenomenon (ft. The Backstreet Boys). Is this something that is indicative of a larger issue or an ignorable quirk?

This happens from time to time. I have found that I can close out the program and then re-open it and the problem goes away. It is not detrimental to leave alone, it does seem to take a bit longer to run though.

I remember hearing that kind of douple-beep during the annual maintenance when the Zeiss tech did his measurements. But it doesn't occur during everyday usage.

The control box is capable of making different kinds of beep sound as you probably know. I'm sure these can also be triggered by Calypso, but I have no idea why this would happen by accident.
