Hello, my friends!

Could someone please provide me with printout of gear measurement according to AGMA std.

I would like to see profile and lead results, would be great if crowning, tip relief etc. would exist.

One more question about "Helix design" how does it work? I prepared the program and I had bad results for Fbeta, Fhbeta and ffbeta. After that I add "Helix design" and created the lead according to this table and all everything become in tolerance, how?

Thanks 🙂

Hi, Design-Evaluation (exists as Design-Profile and Design-Helix) ist different to the "common" evaluation with modifications. In the Design-Evaluation the modifications are part of the "reference geometry". That means not the unmodified involute is the base of the evaluation and calculation of characteristics, the Design-Curve is the base. That´s the reason why you got "good" results when you activate in this case Design-Helix and when you define the shown curve as the base for calculating the characteristics.

Thank you, Roman, like always 🙂

So, in this case, when I have this kind of lead it is better and the right way is to use "design helix" ?

I can only see an extract of your drawing. If this is everthing relevant for the gear evaluation, the Design-Helix is the correct way of evaluation.
