Select Loop of Pallet via inquireList

Hello everybody,

 

short description: i have a pallet of three parts on AutoRun and i want to be able to select Loop of Part 1-3 and Loop 1-1 (only first part gets measured)

is it possible to get a inquireList to select loop1 or loop2 to slect if you want to measure 1 part or 3 parts?

i know you can "X out" parts on the autorun if you dont use loop, but thats actually not an option in my scenario.

If you have defined loop in autorun pallet, then you can not select individual part by "X" like you said.

Why make it so difficult? Just let user decide and manually check how many and where you have parts.

thanks, but this is not an option. thats just how it is regulated by our company, its not in my hands. user is not allowed to select and deselect. thats why i am trying to find another way.

Anyway - only option you have is duplicating pallet and set it by loop for measuring only first nest.

I don't know if it's a kind reply, but it's honest one. Not sure if helpful also, but only one i can think of.

You may be able to skip (end the run early) single pallet locations by having some PCM at the program start check which location is being measured right now (header parameters palletlocationnumber, firstpalletlocationnumber and lastpalletlocationnumber), but you can't control Autorun from out of your measurement plan.
