HELLO, I NEED HELP ADDING MORE HEADER INFORMATION IN EXCEL

MY PROBLEM IS THAT I WANT TO ADD THE MACHINE AND SEVERAL THINGS BUT IN THE LIST ReporteINI.xls I don't have that option and I don't know how I can recall the data someone could guide me or some available manual that they handle (annex evidence)

Calypso finds Report Headers in 2 INI files. The first is userfields.ini ( Located "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Zeiss\CALYPSO\protocol\protform" ). In here you should note 2 things, the id in [*]'s and exactly what it says in name=*.

 

In the ReportINI.xlt you have to find/replace headers you need/don't need.
For example, in Row 10 it has "| filename | File Name |" You can replace it with "| u_example | Example |" The important thing is it has to match what the userfields.ini. 

 

In characteristics.xlt, anywhere from A1:H12 is your Header Field that Calypso will recognize. In this area, you put "Example" and a blank space below it. Calypso will put the value from your header here.

 

This is kind of a light explanation but hopefully it helps.

I tried your suggestions and I can't get the Excel sheet to populate with any data.

Steps I took:

1. Made copies of Characteristic .xlt and .xls files and Report .xls

2. Added correct username fields to all 3 files to get additional header info

3.Moved old files to temporary folder

4. Placed new modified files in excel_report folder

5. Selected the new template in the Define Report and ran the program.

The new template shows up but is empty of all data, including fields I didn't touch.

Any thoughts?
