[Ri...]
https://portal.zeiss.com/my-voice/software/metrology/product/066cc67a-e50f-470f-9884-a3ec3253c37c/request/91e6e1a4-3313-4142-bda1-7adf98eefbf0 I went ahead and requested this on My Voice, but does anyone have any great way to perform Torus Calculations for Height/Diameter similar to the Cone Calculation tool? I guess I can math it out, but I wanted to ask if anyone had any suggestions. Many thanks as always.
[Ri...]
I went ahead and submitted one for Sphere Calculations as well.
[Ma...]
I am not sure what usage you are aiming for. In most cases i use D2 circles recalled into simple circles and then intersections. Or if you want to have a formula for something then trigonometry is my way ( sin, cos because you work with radiuses )
[Ri...]
Please sign in to view this quote. I'd rather have the software allow the option to calculate the diameter on a sphere/torus at a specific height and vice versa without the need of formulas. It is already possible for it do it for Cones, it should allow us to do the same for other shapes. Yes, there technically are work-arounds, but honestly I get burnt out of work-arounds. 😞
