Circle scan point vectors are weird

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I have 3 circle scan paths on an ID cylinder and they each look like this.

First picture is how they looked a month ago the last time it was ran and the second is what I'm seeing now.

I've tried 2 different stylus systems, no change. Qualified the stylus, no change. Replaced the stylus, no change.

The part is sitting on 3 one inch magnet standoffs.

Moved the same program to another CMM with the same standoffs using the same length stylus and ball size and it looks normal like the first picture.

Qualification looks good and the size was good with only 0.00002" difference from a month ago.

I've tried running a similar ID on a different part and I'm seeing the same thing.

I thought I saw a topic on this in the past but could not find anything.

Although i'm not sure what exactly causes this my first thought would be to check the evaluation and see if normal vector is checked with the constraints?
At some point did the feature get toggled between an OD feature and an ID feature?
What did the geometry look like on the probe qualification?

I have seen this when the probe is in contact with more than the feature intended, is there a cone, plane or groove near that scan?

It's extra odd that the vector deviation is not the same around the entire feature. Are you sure that the standoffs are properly seated and that the part is square with the CMM. All other things being consistant, it could be an issue with the probe head.

Using a VAST XTR and scanning CCW.

This is a standard ring with no chamfers or taper.

I've been scanning these the same way for years and like I said I've checked other rings after seeing this and the vectors are similar.

I looked at other programs that use various other fixtures and the diameters are all showing similar weird vectors but the sizes are all okay.

I'm beginning to think that maybe it is something with the head

I know that with the Vast XXT, if there was something broken inside you might be able to hear it if you remove it and shake it around (if the problem was due to a collision).. but it could also be something that isn't "broken" in that way.
