Hi there,

i am looking for a way to write into report inspection plan path.
I have Calypso 2018 ( 6.6 ). No PCM

Only way i found was using user fields, but there you can not use any formulas to get that automatically ( writing it manually will not solve possible changes in directory structure )

Reason: when i am ill / on vacation - colleagues are not used to be here and can not find inspection plan to see problematic place.
Autorun is not helpfull too due to reducted plan path.

Any ideas? Thanks

I would probably just poor man it with putting a formula inside the comment of the first Characteristic.

getActualInspectionDir()

 Thanks for that function - i'll play with that later 🙂

Btw - can you set / alter user field or anything related to header with PCM after start? Basic calls can be used without PCM license.

 I guess it depends exactly what you are trying to doing, but absolutely you can change header parameters with PCM via the pre-settings or post-settings.

You can try to do it via the comment section of a characteristic, or in the formula field of a ResultElement.

setRecordHead("company", getActualInspectionDir())

This works.

 I just did testing where I created a new userfield for the Inspection Directory, and mapped it.

Then in the formula of the Result Element I put this in the formula. It appears to work.

 Hi, I have a question. Do I need a license to use this mapping dialog box? I want to open it, but nothing appears. I don't know if I need to enable it somehow or contact Zeiss support.

 I have just noticed - once you use mapping, then you can not use "u_workdir" but you have to use that mapped K num.

I've tried with result element - works. I'll try to hide it in condition or nominal formula - i am not sure for old protocols - perhaps tommorow i will have time.

 this should be without any license - just Calypso. What version of Calypso you have?
