Importing Points from a Solidworks Sketch into Calypso

Engineers often provide Solidworks models for me that, besides the solid CAD bodies, have a 3D sketch of points (point set) that represent inspection points.  These are often provided for quick steel-to-CAD comparisons.

So far, I have been using a Solidworks macro to export the points from the sketch into Calypso as a .txt or .csv file.  Then, I use the CAD > "Apply Nominal Values from CAD" function to snap the points to the CAD and get their normal vectors (the solidworks macro doesn't do a great job of exporting correct vectors, since the points are just floating on a 3D sketch).

Question:

-Is there a way to import these points with the CAD model?

I currently  have ACIS and .stp import capabilities in Calypso (and .dxf to some extent).  I don't have the .sldprt import license.

My current workflow is decent, but I'm always looking for ways to optimize.
