[Ju...]
I am creating True Position measurements from 3 different Dowel Holes wrt my Datum Dowel Hole. The surface is too reflective to scan effectively so data from a handheld probe is being used instead. What is the best method to construct this measurement? Treating the Dowel Holes as Circles or Cylinders, ISO/Geometry etc. Any help appreciated, thanks
[Ha...]
Please sign in to view this quote. If the surface is too reflective, you can use the Gray Value Feature measuring principle. This method helps somewhat by capturing data without relying on polygon processing. However, for higher accuracy, it is recommended to apply a light powder coating to reduce surface reflectivity. Further details are provided in the technical guide Thanks!
[Ju...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Thanks Hao, I will look into Gray Value Feature to see if it is suitable. Sadly I cannot use light powder/dulling spray due to working in a clean room environment. Any other suggestions (possibly software related) would still be appreciated from all.
