Creating a plane offset and joining two planes for alignment

Hello everybody, 

So, I have to create a plane (Datum B) and send it 3mm theoretically to Z, and join it with Datum A which is 3mm above the Datum B.

What is the best way to create this alignment?

You can use stepped plane ( i hope it's named like that ) where you have to use 3 points and you declare their position in vector direction.

Or i think you can use geometry bestfit with those two planes and then create theoretical plane with this alignment.

Correct - You must search. There are categories, but they are broad, so there are many articles per category, so it is best to search.
