Theoretische Ebene anlegen an 3 Zylinder

Hallo Zusammen,

ich jeweils 3 halbe Zylinder gemessen und möchte nun an diese eine theoretische Ebene "anlegen". Geht dies über Calypso, und wenn ja, wie?

Viele Grüße

Without knowing exactly what you want to achieve. I would start with this.

Open a plane (Ebene) feature. Click on "Options" Theoretical Feature. Enter the

XYZ coordinates you need. The length1/Length2. The A1/A2 angles. The space axis.

Imagine you have 3 half cylinders and place them with the flat side on the granite so that the semicircular curvature points upwards. I would now like to stretch a plane over all three semicircular curvatures of the cylinders. As if I were to place a plate on the cylinders from above!

You might be able to do this with formulas, using points that recall each cylinder's x y and z center, then add the actual radius to the z (or whichever direction the cylinders are facing) then create a theoretical plane that recalls the points created. You would probably want to have 2 points for each cylinder though at different points along the length of the cylinder. If you would like, I can go into more detail.

I am new to calypso so there is probably a much better way to to this, which smarter people than me probably help you out with, just wanted to give my first idea.
