Machine Tab Missing... again

Hello quality heroes....  DuraMax was working on Friday, but today, the machine tab is missing.  Checked the config folder and the DuraMax folder is there.   This happened before and then fixed itself.  I understand that I can create a new machine tab, but I would really like to understand what cause this to happen.

Hey Tom - would you consider having an app, which would run in background, keeping history of config files, so you could bring back older version of certain file?

All i would need to know is what files should be kept ( some can potentionally change with usage of Calypso ) and i would make that app.

Anyone willing to contribute ideas for that app just PM me - or continue in this thread 🙂

Mostly what files are critical - or i can implement file / folder selection with interval. You can suggest some files/paths because i won't see Calypso for at least two weeks.

I can not find how to implement git features, so i'll be doing history within zip archive.

Hey Tom,

 

Did you have a power outage, or perhaps did someone turn off the computer with Calypso still running? That's when I usually see this. Otherwise, perhaps some sort of security thing.... When you type the name of the machine tab back in in the CMM settings, it does recognize that the folder is there, correct?

 

As a side note, I know you know how to do this, but just in case someone comes by looking for help for this later, here is a document on how to resolve this issue:

Hi,

to me there are 2 known events which could cause CALYPSO to lose the "connection" to the folder. 

1. Which Kyle already mentioned is a power outage. 

2. If the C:\ drive is full. Like literally no more space to write data.
