GD&T Engine

Hi, how is everyone's work going lately? Busy? Busy? Busy?

From the information I have, is the GD&T Engine still in backup in Calypso 7.8? Have you started using the GD&T Engine already? If so, in which version?

I have found the GDT engine to be awesome!  It alerts you about unconstrained axis and rotations, worth its weight in gold.   

 

It worked well for us in 7.8 and 8.0

It's a great tool. It still has room for improvement, but it is the path forward, so the more people use it, and provide feedback the quick it will be better.

HINT: Extras > Settings > Miscellaneous

For those without knowledge base access: The accessibility of the beta GD&T engine is controlled by a license item in the Extras/Settings/Miscellaneous dialog. No cost involved, this is just an on/off switch. Activate license, restart Calypso and the new GD&T characteristics will appear in an additional sub-menu.
