Planner Simulation Probe Away From Part

Hello,

I got my planner/simulation 90% set up, and I need help with the remaining 10%.

When I run the simulation: the wrist, head, and probe tip are many feet above the machine in the Z-axis. Also, I have a second probe tip that contacts the part (no wrist or head). Any ideas?

Hello! My assumption is that it is the offsets that need to be corrected. However, often it is best to create a new machine tab to ensure the offsets are correct. My first suggestion would be to measure with just the MasterProbe to see if that is showing correctly, and if it is not, start from scratch with a new machine tab. 

I would also suggest to ensure you are typing in the offsets in metric. It sounds like you're a few feet above the part, so I wonder if metric values were added in inch.
