[Jo...]
When I scanned the same product in the same setting using the scan port, I found more detailed results, one with 654614 points and one with 2228342 as shown below. All settings were the same except for the two times, but the number of points was measured differently every time it was measured. (The conditions are the same when generating the mesh.) I wonder what caused this phenomenon.
[Cl...]
Is the position/orientation and distance between the part and the scanner the exact same each time?
[Jo...]
yes, same distance and exact same each time. (Turn the table 6 times at an angle of 30 degrees and 60 degrees). Is there any impact on the delay as the sensor appears to move? When measured with the scan port, the message often appears that sensor movement has been detected
[St...]
[Na...]
Hello, there should be differences in the properties -> Information of the measuring series and in the properties of the mesh -> general. If there was movement detected you can also check the measurements table (or properties of individual measurements) for the movement. Generally, if the individual measurements are not aligned well to each other due to movement or transformation errors, the postprocessing of the mesh will be smoother.
