I just downloaded Calypso 2024 for my planner. How/where do I get the Entitlement ID?

You should be able to update license in Portal - if you have SMA go to Portal -> License Manager -> License Update - there you should see machines.

I am awaiting new pc, so i'll be doing same update - i was told to download 2025 (8.0) and activate it - then you can use 2024 (7.8)

The portal shows four of my licenses as expired. My manager just told me that they were all renewed last December.

You might be seeing older contract, to add yourself to to new contract you can fill out the information online on portal and you should be able to see the licenses. here are instructions https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=2835435

You can also ask your Manager if he is contract owner or Contract owner of your SMA to add you to new contract. here are instructions for that https://portal.zeiss.com/knowledge-base?id=2647026

So do you mean that the "contract owner" has do activate the license?

Contract owner can do the activation, or they can add your email address to new contract and then you should be able to do it also
