Tooth Profile and Tolerancing from XY Coordinates

I am working on a program for a new sprocket. The tooth profile is called out by three sets of X and Y coordinates. The sets include Max, Typical, and Min profiles. I imported the points for the typical curve into a 3D curve and measured the feature. I can get the usual min/max deviation from nominal, but I am stumped on how I might use the coordinates for the min and max profiles as limits. I don't see any way to set a tolerance as it changes throughout the curve. Is there any way to import these profiles and use them as the min and max limits? Is there any other way to tolerance a feature like this?

You can use tolerance by segments.

This i would go for controlling process and not for customer protocol. Or you can explain to the customer how to read your protocol.
I would go by evaluation of MAX and MIN as separate curves and only cared about values: in material for MIN and out of material for MAX.
Depending on machining and datums i would use MID curve as bestfit with some constraining.
