RPS or not?

Hello everbody,

please be kind to help me a bit. What kind of coordinate system is it on this drawing?  Is it an RPS or not or what is it? In my opinion Ref A is a plane (A1-A4) , Ref B is a midline (B1', B1"-B2',B2"), and C is only a zeropoint. This would be a normal coordinate 3-2-1 system. But why does the drawing contain in the table a lot of XYZ coordinates for the points far away in the air ? Do I need them for creating the coordinate system ?

And what is it about the ref D. it only a hole centerpoint? how to make a plane element out of it? how to align the part in the zeiss inspect software if the ref D is only a point? I would be happy that if you could help me and contact me via e-mail not only here in the forum.

Thank you!

Hopefully someone else chimes in, but I believe what you are looking at are datum target points, not necessarily for evaluation alignment, but target points for fixturing when machining or creating a checking fixture.
