[Ry...] Posted 15 hours ago Share Posted 15 hours ago Hello All, I know this is not pertinent to Calypso, but it is more of a general question. Seems like this thread is more active as well. My company just acquired a Metrotom 800 & I am going through the Zeiss Inspect training on Monday on site. I am trying to get the software ready on the computer that came with the scanner, but there are a few questions that I have that come with that. We acquired the full version of inspect a few months ago upon request so we could start utilizing it with some contract work we had done. I activated the license on the computer that hosts our O-Inspect 322. When asking if the licenses were tied to a computer once activated, I obtained a response of "Dongle licenses can be activated on many computers, and then hot-swapped when the dongle is actually plugged in." When I unplug the dongle from my O-Inspect computer and plug it into the computer that is next to the scanner, none of the licenses pop up in the license manager and in Zeiss Quality Suite it says that I do not have a license. I notice when I unplug the dongle from the O-Inspect computer, none of the licenses disappear from the list in Zeiss license management, but in zeiss quality suite, it goes from saying "pro" to "no license" under the maintenance column. I am assuming I am missing something here, my next thought would be to click "Revoke" in the license management application, but I don't want to do that before consulting someone with more knowledge.
