Qualification program skipping random styli position?

I have a qualification program that qualifies all of our styli in all of their respective positions. This program has worked well for a couple years but over the last few weeks it has started to skip random styli positions, It has done this on two different machines and each week seems to be a different styli and different position. All the program is doing is running the Zeiss qualification characteristic. Any suggestions on why it would skip certain positions?

Thanks in advance
Andrew

What version of Calypso are you running? Is the program stored locally or on a network? Have there been any other changes that may align with the timing of this?

We are running Calypso 7.6.20 2023 service pack 5.

Program is stored on a network drive.

No system changes that I can think of.

For what it's worth, I had this happen on a Duramax CMM a couple years ago that was not on a network at all.

I don't know what happened, but I had to recreate the qualification characteristic on the stylus system that wasn't calibrating to get it to work .

I went back through a few months of qualification data, If the deviation is too large it will still update the date even tho the styli failed.

UPDATE: When a styli is dirty, it is not updating the date or sigma value in the styli management window. If I clean the styli and run it again it will update the date and sigma value. I did update the service pack to 7.6.20 Service pack 5 around the time this started, thinking that could be the cause? Would rather not roll back service packs, is there a setting related to storing/updating qualification data?
