[Mi...]
I have a Datum -C- outside cylinder that I need to manually probe however it is 30° in the Z/Y direction. The 30° probe has been created and qualified (Z-/Y- vector) Thanks,
[Ma...]
If it's for Calypso, then use Resources -> Measurement Plan Editor Features -> Select "Man CNC Mode" and select MAN for your needed feature.
[Mi...]
It is Calypso, also I didn't properly describe what I am trying to do. Sorry for the poor "MS Paint" picture. I want to drive the probe in the direction of the arrows using the joysticks when doing a manual alignment. Right now my only option would be to use the Z(-) and Y(-) joysticks which is not ideal due to the small amount of clearance. Brown arrow should be Z, pink arrow would be X/Y direction. I know it can be done in PC-DMIS, do not have a machine nearby to see what that move option is right now which might be similar if possible in Calypso. [Ke...]
If you created an alignment normal to the hole, you could use the drop down in the Stop Light menu to set the joysticks to move to that alignment (As I do not have a program with additional alignments, my options are only Base Alignment or CMM System)
[Mi...]
Thank you, that worked. It was View>Move in Part Alignment System>Joysticks: Move to>(drop down menu of Alignments)
