PCM on non PCM machine

Just a quick question, is it possible to run programs with PCM programming on machines without PCM option and will Calypso use the PCM programming ?

as far as I know, only simple formulas work in the measurement elements. Proper PCM commands don't work, which means the program isn't running!

Yes. A PCM program will run on a CMM that doesn't have a PCM license. You can't access or do any editing of the PCM.

Not all. I don't know all of which don't work, but I know for certain readPCMFile doesn't work at all without a license.

I am trying to see if PCM is something worth while to add on. We are expanding our CMM operations, but the cost to add PCM for each machine can stack up very quickly.
