[Do...]
So I have this callout shown in the attached image and I am trying to make sure that I have the CMM looking at it correctly (see IMG_5489). I do not deal that much with unequally distributed profile callouts so I am a little unsure of how they get programmed.
[Cr...]
In this callout .010 designates outside (Stock on) .010 should be where you have the .040 and the button next to it should be flipped to outside

If I am measuring the surface indicated by the red arrows, and it is in the -Y axis do I need to toggle the button (next to purple arrow) the other direction to show the .010" going outward in the -Y direction from the material surface. Or does this button always need to stay as shown in image no matter what or where the surface lies in relation to the axis (vector) it is being measured in? [Ma...]
I think you have it set correctly. Tolerance band should be 0,01 out of material and 0,04 in material ( material is drawn as green area on that button )
[Cr...]
If you turn on bubble help under the -?- dropdown and hover over the button you have a purple arrow to, it shows you this button switches from inside (stock off) to outside (stock on). This should not matter where the surface lies in relation to your DFR. I believe your original setting would have worked (I haven't tested this) but the callout designates .010 as being outside (stock on).
