Probe Change for Internal Gears

Having issues with doing a probe change. I have a part with internal teeth, I need to use 2 different probes (1 for Leads / Invoute) and another for the Index to reach the proper length called out for MBP because of a lead taper. I added a clearance height and my 1st probe goes Z+ correctly, does the probe change from the rack, and then my 2nd probe does not go up high enough in Z+ to clear the OD of the part. Any ideas?

Thx

Is your clearance cube and approach correct in Calypso ?

Also in Gear Pro :

you CAN add another feed-in , which I recommend. You can also change without a 2nd feed in but clearances must be correct.

 Try adding another feed-in.

Worst case you can make 2 measurement runs, and assign each to a gear macro in Calypso, then you can move probe clear in Calypso first.

I will look into the clearance cube / approach, didn't realize gear pro pulled those in! For the additional feed in, would/should I need to add a clearance height under "Technology-measuring job"?

Got it figured out! Calypso clearance planes will establish position directly after a probe change, and the gear pro clearance only pertains to feed-out position. Will include the 2nd feed in approach as well.

Thanks for the help!
