Weird stuff happening during coordinate transformation

Hi everyone,

does anyone know why Calypso calculates actual values and nominal values in different ways?
I’m currently trying to reproduce the calculation myself for a special application, but I always end up with the value from the nominal data.

Has anyone looked into this before or can explain what’s happening in the background?

Example (nominal and actual are the same):

After transformation into another Coordinatesystem nominal and actual differ from each other:

Check nominals of used features in PCS alignment or if you have a rotation as extra, then it should be square ( 90°,180°,270° )

Perhaps your used feature for rotation is not square to have that nominal change in vectors.

Im not using any feature in the PCS Alignment. Its just a rotation and shift in regard to the basesystem

It looks like you rotated your X by approximately 105.95°, and translated 647; 30.39; -1167.8. 

My suspicion as to why you are seeing a huge difference between the nominal to actual (and PtDist) is due to the evaluation parameter of the Point. I assume it is a Space Point? If so, please switch to Plane Point.

This is the point. The evaluation parameter is a (for the lack of a better translation) "touchpoint"

From your posted screens i would suggest to look what axis are used in primary/secondary and pehaps features.

Also - wouldn't rotation in +X and +0,27... and -X and -1,57... be same like +X +1,84...? But this come from drawing and views i suppose.

Rotating in X axis will transform your Y and Z vector on that point, but just a little, not like almost 90°
