Different colours for different size reference points

I'm using 3mm reference points on the turning table and 0,8mm points on my object which I would like to scan.
It happens frequently that I select the wrong point when I have to define the table.
I think it would be a nice feature that I could select a specific colour for a specific size of point, so the chance of mixing up the different points is gone.
Is it already possible? If not, could it be implemented in the next revision?
