[ca...]
Hello everyone, In ZEISS software, when a dongle license is activated on one computer, it cannot be used on another computer when plugged in. Is there a way to change this? This situation may arise when the number of computers exceeds the number of licenses. This issue did not occur in previous versions. Thanks, Canset
[ca...]
This issue has been resolved; I found the method to use the same license on two separate computers.
[Na...]
If anyone has similar trouble, it is hopefully covered in this FAQ: https://techguide.zeiss.com/en/zeiss-inspect-2025/article/faq_zeiss_inspect_2025_new_licensing.html
[Je...]
Please sign in to view this quote. You can import the same license on to any number of computers. Go to that PC/workstation, PLUG IN THE DONGLE, open ZLMT and import the license file. Now you are free to move the dongle openly between any number of workstations. You MUST have the dongle plugged in to activate the license and you must use ZLMT to import the .zlic file (the old method of copying files from the programdata folder is no longer functional). So yes, you can import it to any number of PCs but you must physically take the dongle to each PC and activate them individually.
