Involute Spline - License Requirements

I have the "basic" Gear Pro Involute lisence.

The print states that it is an Involute Spline, however, it looks like a Serrated Spline, to me... I don't kow much about gears, and the workbook that I have does not have very good visual references.

Q: Is a Serrated Spline a type of Involute Spline (I would guess, since it is listed as the "advanced" option for Gear Pro Involute)?

Q: Can anyone tell by looking at my sample trace which type of Spline I am actually looking at? (the pressure angle is 45 degrees)

I have provided a trace of the sample for visual reference, and a snapshot of the spline specifications that are on the print.

Hi,

Serrations and parallel key splines are non-involute splines and covered by the GEAR PRO involute advanced package.
As in the screenshot mentioned this should be an involute spline as a module and a pressure angle is mentioned.
So your GEAR PRO involute base license should be fine.
The main difference involute to non-involute spline is that non-involute splines have a straight profile in the transverse section instead of the involute contour from involute splines.

Follow up question: Is the information that I posted all that is needed from the print to create the program? Currently, after inputting the information and clicking on "Display Geo" I am getting a "Missing Nominal Data for ACIS" error... so I'm missing something.
