[Ni...]
Hello, we have two old UMESS CMMS, before Calypso, that were getting calibrated by American Calibration. I am assuming they were performing a basic calibration, just running it with an artifact to make sure it is still measuring within specs, and then had access to the offsets values and made offsets if needed. Recently they said they do not do calibrations anymore. So i am wondering if anyone know who else does calibrations for these old machines? If none, i am thinking of doing self-calibration checks to sustain us for a while until we are able to transition to a new machine. Anyone have any idea what other companies still work on these old machines or how to handle self-calibrations with artifacts? Thank You, Nixon
[No...]
I guess the problem is that most of the people who still know how to use UMESS are close to their retirement today. So companies who are still doing calibrations with it will become fewer and fewer.
