[Ro...] Posted September 11 Share Posted September 11 I know it is kind of an offbeat question, and there is not many companies using them right now, but we have an old Eclipse that we are still running a TP20 module on. We are having problems with them and we have to remove them and "excercise" them to get them to work again. I was wondering if it is ok to spray them with di-electric grease? We are thinking it may help with them to trigger and take points, instead of having the pins stay out and triggered, crashing the machine often. Thanks for the help. [Da...] Posted September 11 Share Posted September 11 The mechanics of a TP20 are sealed within the body, where your grease won’t get into. As far as I remember, the inside is filled with a special dampening oil, and if the sensor‘s performance is decreasing, you can’t do anything about it.
