terminate the program

I want to terminate the program if the sensor doesn't detect any material in the search area. I have PCM. How and where should I best install it?

 I am confused.. if there is no material when it tries to measure, wont it error out automatically ending the run?

Use on first feature - lower search material distance - it will error message.

This only applies to tactile and DOTSCAN measurements.
Unfortunately, when performing optical measurements with the camera, we don't display an error message if the camera doesn't find the edge. Instead, it tries to find the edge repeatedly in an endless loop until the software finally crashes after a few minutes.
