Calypso 8.0 Offline Planner

Anyone having problems with Calypso 8.0 version Collison error not working?  

The offline simulation is worse in this version.

Any solutions?

Many users are complaining about the simulation in 8.0. Doesn't seem to be a fix currently.

Yup, in Calypso 8.0 thread there are posts about it, including mine. For me its completely unusable.

, not the admin for this forum but Zeiss reps, have been fairly quiet on the issue and progress updates.  They must hear a lot of customers voicing pain, but they aren't being very proactive on letting customers know that they acknowledge the situation.  Many organizations that rely on an offline workflow and paid for this year's SMA have effectively been fleeced by being sold a defective product.

Keeping lines of communication open with customers can help retain their trust.  Empathy goes a long way.

The Planner was already a real imposition in previous versions. Stability, reliability and the simulation environment are simply abysmal.
It only works moderately well if you know exactly where all the pitfalls are.
The 8.0 version was supposed to be a big hit. And from what I've read, it's basically the same rubbish. For us, that's a show-stopper when it comes to even trying out 8.0.
The poor communication from Zeiss to its customers is particularly unfortunate.
