Hello gentlemen,

I'm creating the program and I'm struggling with MMC position call out on the slot. Could you guys please help me with that?

Depending on the thickness of the material there. You can measure two planes on the slots opposing sidewalls and construct

a symmetry plane from them. This recalls all the points from each to create the symmetry plane which can then be used to apply the MMC.

Use a slot feature (If the feature is too thin), this can be done as a 2D feature and still apply modifiers.

From the from down menus.

Features:

Special Geometries:

Slot.

Are you sure you did a symmetry plane? MMC can not be placed on ordinary symmetry OF planes. You would need to recall measured points into symmetry plane.

FYI:

Symmetry - Is in the "Construction" drop-down

Symmetry Plane (which you need) is in the "Feature" drop-down, under "Special Geometries"

Yes, I did. I created 2 planes across and I reconducted those 2 planes as symmetry plane but the only issue it did not give me the MMC Option.

In the true position, ensure to switch it to a single direction only(X only or Y only) instead of the diametric. Then, the MMC option should appear.

If that doesn't work, then for tolerance use a formula (getActual("Symmetry Plane1").distance-3.1876)+0.0127
