Deleting CAD Features

I am attempting to scan a check fixture for its annual calibration but when I import the CAD it has the check fixture with the CAD for the part on it as well. Is there a way to delete CAD features in Zeiss Inspect 2023?

I am not sure if this can be done on 2023, but you can click little pen icon next to model visibility checkbox - edit mode - there you can edit objects.

It may help to drag and drop the file containing the CAD data into INSPECT and first import it into the clipboard. There, the CAD data for the component can be easily deleted if necessary. Only then should you proceed with the actual import into a component, which would then only be the component capture.
