AutoCad question

I'm a new programmer so I apologize in advance if what I'm asking is basic stuff. I've been manually programming for about six months now. My company just gave me a license for AutoCad, our engineers use Siemens NX. What version of CAD would i need to import the files for Siemens NX and also be used through Calypso? I was told LT would work but through research it looks as if LT is strictly 2D. It seems to me Fusion would be the best bet. Can Calypso import directly from Siemens and i could skip AutoCad all together? Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm currently at a stand still waiting for more information, thank you.

The Pro version of Inspect can import NX. Calypso can import NX as well if you have the NX import license

CALYPSO - Step242 is the most stable.

Your CALYPSO license came with an IGES or STP importer natively (you get the choice at time of purchase).  Others can be added but require extra licenses.  STP is the most widely adopted.
