[Lu...]
I wonder if anyone is working on a weekend 😉 How to make C2018 export 3 decimal places (metric system) instead of all of them? "Resources-> Characteristic Settings Editor-> Number of decimal places" won't affect Excel export "Extras -> Settings _> Environment -> Language" won't affect Excel export I know I can format decimals in the Excel template but I will affect display only
[Wo...]
Try "Measurement Plan Editor Features > Units > All three settings" there. I generally use table file to import results, but maybe it affects excel export too. I know there have been some changes to excel results export in 2025 so I'm not sure how it differs from 2018.
[Lu...]
Thank you Measurement Plan Editor Features > Units > Number of decimal places Table file I'd never look there

[Ky...]
I know this might be a little late, but for future reference, the best place to edit it is in the Excel template itself. Grab a chunk of cells that would be cover all the data you expect to get, edit the formatting to only show like 3 or whatever decimal places and save it (remember to save it in the correct format and location).
