Hone relief 12" deep-what to use

We will be making this very soon.  It has a main bore that it is Ø2.250±.002"  At the bottom of the bore is a hone relief diameter of Ø2.31±.020 and max depth /width of .20"

This is not going to be inspected on a CMM. Manufacturing is looking for a handheld gage that can inspect the ID. We may have something for the depth.

Does anyone know of gages for checking hone reliefs?  Please see the attached.

I know that there are various types of bore gages, but I don't think that's the right type of gage for such a small diameter landing.  We're going to need to get all the way down the bore to get the ID.  Telescoping gages are a bit too big, the spring-loaded pins are about .225"

I believe they are called "inreach gages" by Mueller and work well for in-place inspection.  Bore gages work for this but are difficult to get to the bottom of a bore of that size/depth ratio.  Not promoting them, just making you aware as they are an obscure gage that many are unaware of.  Use this while the part is in-place on the machine then take to inspection and measure using a VAST sensor and special stylus setup
