[Fl...]
Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to get the material thickness on a certain height of my sample. Usually, I just select a surface and generate the thickness distribution on the area of interest, however for this inspection I would like to know the thickness distribution on the cross section which I used to also measure some Ø at a certain height. Is this possible? Can I get the min and max thickness (distance) on the section? Thanks!
[Na...]
Hello Florian, you could create two separate sections: one with selection of the inner cylinder and one with selection of the outer cylinder. Then construct -> distance -> continuous curve distance. Or you create a material thickness over the whole surface (ZEISS Quality Tech Guide) and use this function on your sections: https://techguide.zeiss.com/en/zeiss-inspect-2025/article/cmd_inspection_extract_values_from_surface_analysis.html Min and Max can be retrieved by min/max labels.
