VMR ScanBox

Just got the ScanBox 4105, completed Zeiss Inspect E-Learning, VMR training in 3 weeks.

I'm trying to put together the ScanBox model with my CAD, everything works perfectly but I get an error saying "The VMR is not calibrated. Please contact your sales contact or your local distributor".  I grabbed the ScanBox model from the desktop and I suspect there should be a calibrated version of this file that matches my specific machine?

Please help if you know what I've done wrong!

Thanks!

Todd

Hi, Todd, as far as I know, as you suspected, there will indeed be a calibration version. You can contact the local dealer. They need to go to the site for VMR calibration of the equipment to get it. I hope my answer can be helpful to you.

Hi Chaohua,

Thanks for your response.  Was this supposed to be set up at install, or at a later date?  Do you have a ScanBox, and if so, did yours come with a calibrated VMR?

We typically calibrate the VMR after the device installation is complete. The calibration process requires a calibration board. You can find images of this board in the VMR calibration script within the software. Your local distributor should have the board available, and you may need to contact them to complete the VMR calibration. Factors such as disassembly, reinstallation, or long-distance transportation may alter the calibration, making pre-calibration values unreliable. Therefore, it is essential to perform the VMR calibration after the device has been fully installed.
