Posting in General for more traffic. (Original post in the curve section)

Hey all,

I am looking for some input on general 2d curve evaluation settings. I know this may be generic, but I figured I would put out a post.

For some background. I have came across a few instances in my company where the same feature in different programs are being filtered differently.

the examples below show a 2d curve evaluated with spline with 50 upr and a second instance where it is evaluated with Gauss with Lc 2.6.

Appreciate the help!

I would say: UPR for a turned feature - rest would be Lc

But a programmer should be responsible for selecting correct filter.

I just opened the program to verify this again, and I think this could be a bug, actually.

When I open the pencil to attempt to change this, I actually see it as being set to Lc already and with no option to change to UPR.

bump.

Does anyone still have any information regarding measurement settings on 2d curves?

TIA

The biggest thing is a minimum of 3x actual to nominal points, though I think starting in 2023 it will automatically set it to do that.
