[Ma...]
Hi everyone, How I can create alignment like this? A is a plane, references B and C are not perpendicular to each other, they are at an angle of 91.884°. When I try to create an alignment based on these references, the software automatically adjusts it to 90°. Thanks for your help,

[Ma...]
Then what about using intersection of B and C to get the point and then use this point instead of C? Or any of the last datum from those three.
[Ma...]
So i did a research with help of SolidWorks. I did construct coordinate system by geometries like this Then i did create projected distance: circle/point from cylinder and B - used referenced construction. Then i reported distance X and selected correct coordinate system. It was giving me correct nominal. Here is what i got when i created bad coordinate system ( A|C|B ) and measured projected distance circle->B
[Ma...]
Thank you very much Martin, i will try it with your method 🙂
[Ch...]
Additional hint: You can create an alignment from a nominal and actual datum system, and inside the datum system dialog you can find a option to use nominal angle instead the 90 degrees defaults. If I understood your problem correctly, this can save some construction work. Afterwards you have construct a datum system from your elements, simple create an alignment using Hope this helps, Christoph Schult

[Jo...]
Please sign in to view this quote. Coming from CMM with age old software, this would have also been my approach and a point is enough for the last degree of freedom.
