[Cl...]
I am writing a program for multiple size parts. Same geometry. I need to move some 2d curves along multiple axis as the parts grow in size. I thought I could just create a secondary alignment with the translation variable added by way of a para file, and relate the curve to that alignment, but the alignment won't allow me to pull any curves into it. Any suggestions? Edited November
[Ri...]
I don't have a lot of experience with Curves and PCM, but in the two cases I've used both here is what I've done. Either have a Curve nominal for each case. For me there were (4) different configurations and the entire Curve shape completely changed. Then I just placed the PCM variable inside of the Read Curve Nominal string. If you can make the Curve live inside of an alignment, that the alignment has offset values inside of it (Special - Offset) that are the variable, that could work for what you need.
[Cl...]
Thanks Richard. The second option works. Except I had to recall the nominal points from the initial curve into a second curve feature. Calypso won't allow this with the first curve. Not sure why?
